no tracking maze hiding in the background.
This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on NoCryClub, what they do, how long they last, when consent is required, and how you can control them.
the short version
The current NoCryClub customer-facing site uses cookies needed for sessions, security and authentication. We do not currently set advertising cookies.
Current operational analytics are recorded on the server. The browser does not load Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Hotjar or similar tracking tools in this build.
A first-party session cookie helps keep your Life Check, personalized journal and account activity connected while you move through the site.
When Stripe Checkout is enabled and you choose to pay, you are redirected to Stripe's hosted checkout. Stripe controls cookies used on its own domain.
01 · Basics
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by a website in your browser or device. They can help a site keep a session running, remember a login, protect forms, remember preferences or measure how a service is used.
Similar technologies can include local storage, pixels, web beacons, device identifiers and other methods that store information on, or read information from, a user's device. In this policy, “cookies” is used as a convenient collective term where the same rules apply.
The current NoCryClub customer-facing application does not deliberately use browser fingerprinting, advertising pixels or browser storage for behavioral advertising.
02 · Operator
First-party cookies described in this policy are set by the website operated under the NoCryClub brand. The person or legal entity below is responsible for the NoCryClub website and the related processing described in the Privacy Policy.
03 · Current inventory
The current customer-facing application uses the following first-party cookies. They are classified as strictly necessary because they support a service you request, protect the website, maintain the session, or keep you signed in when you expressly choose that option.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|
nocryclub_session |
Maintains the Laravel session used for security, anonymous Life Check continuity, personalized journal access and authenticated customer/admin areas. | Approximately 120 minutes after the last activity under the current configuration. | Strictly necessary |
XSRF-TOKEN |
Supports cross-site request-forgery protection so forms and state-changing requests can be checked against your session. | Approximately 120 minutes after the last activity under the current configuration. | Strictly necessary |
remember_* |
Created only when you select “Remember me” when signing in. It lets the application recognize your login on a later visit. The exact suffix is generated by the authentication framework. | Persistent. In the current Laravel authentication implementation, the default remember period is up to about 400 days, unless you sign out, clear the cookie or the login is invalidated earlier. | Strictly necessary for the requested “Remember me” feature |
Cookie names or technical durations can change when the application framework or security configuration changes. We review this inventory when the site changes materially and update this policy when needed.
04 · Session
You can begin a Life Check before creating an account. NoCryClub creates a server-side Life Check record
and associates it with your current session identifier. The nocryclub_session cookie lets
the application recognize that same browser session while you answer questions, view the generated journal,
adjust modules and move toward checkout.
Your Life Check answers themselves are not stored inside the cookie. They are stored in the application database. The cookie carries session information that lets the server connect your requests to the correct session.
If you later register or sign in, the application can use the current session to associate eligible anonymous Life Check and journal records with your customer account.
05 · Security
NoCryClub uses Laravel's cross-site request-forgery protection for forms and actions such as starting a Life Check, signing in, changing account settings, updating a journal configuration and joining the newsletter list.
The XSRF-TOKEN cookie supports that protection. Its purpose is security rather than advertising or profiling.
Blocking it can cause protected forms or actions to fail.
06 · Login
The NoCryClub login form includes an optional “Remember me” checkbox. If you select it, Laravel creates a long-lived, encrypted authentication cookie so the site can recognize your login on a later visit.
This cookie is not created merely because you visit the site. It is created because you specifically request the persistent-login feature. You can remove it by signing out or clearing cookies in your browser.
07 · Analytics & marketing
The current application records limited operational events in the NoCryClub database on the server. It does not currently load Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity or an equivalent browser tracker.
The footer newsletter signup is submitted to NoCryClub. If Brevo is enabled, the contact synchronization is performed server-to-server; this build does not load a Brevo tracking script on NoCryClub pages.
Brevo is currently enabled as the email-list provider. This Cookie Policy describes browser technologies on NoCryClub pages; information about how newsletter contact data is handled is available in the Privacy Policy.
08 · Payments
When the production Stripe checkout driver is enabled and you choose to pay, NoCryClub creates a Stripe Checkout Session server-to-server and redirects your browser to Stripe's hosted checkout page. Card entry happens on Stripe's environment rather than inside the NoCryClub page.
Stripe may use cookies and similar technologies on its own services for purposes such as essential operation, security, fraud prevention, preferences, analytics and, where permitted, advertising. Those cookies are controlled under Stripe's own policies and consent controls rather than by NoCryClub's first-party cookie settings.
You can read Stripe's current Cookie Policy and Privacy information.
09 · External sites
The NoCryClub footer currently contains ordinary links to external social platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest. The current site does not embed their feeds, pixels or social widgets into NoCryClub pages.
If you click an external link, you leave NoCryClub and the destination website may use cookies or similar technologies under its own policies. NoCryClub does not control cookies placed by another website after you visit it.
10 · Consent
Latvian rules generally require clear information and consent before information is stored in or read from a user's device, but they contain an exception where the storage or access is necessary to provide a service specifically requested by the user or to enable communication over the network.
Because the current NoCryClub customer-facing site uses only the strictly necessary cookies described above, we do not currently display a banner that asks you to “accept” those necessary cookies. A consent banner for cookies that cannot be refused would not provide a meaningful choice.
If NoCryClub later adds non-essential analytics, advertising, personalization tracking or similar browser technologies that require consent, those technologies should remain disabled until you make the required choice. We will also update this policy and provide a practical way to withdraw or change consent where applicable.
The legal rule for storage/access on terminal equipment is set out in Section 71 of Latvia's Law on Information Society Services.
11 · Your browser
Most browsers let you inspect, delete or block cookies through their privacy or site-data settings. You can usually remove data for a specific site without deleting every cookie stored by your browser.
If you block strictly necessary NoCryClub cookies, parts of the site may stop working correctly. For example, the site may be unable to keep your Life Check connected to your browser session, verify protected form submissions or maintain your login.
12 · Changes
NoCryClub may update this Cookie Policy when the website, providers, cookie inventory, legal requirements or purposes change. The effective date at the top of the page shows when this version applies.
A material change that introduces a new non-essential cookie does not by itself create consent. Where consent is legally required, the appropriate consent mechanism must be implemented before that optional technology is activated for users who have not consented.
